In dit werk breng ik mijn liefde voor de Schotse Hooglanden samen. De iconische ruïne van Kilchurn Castle vormt voor mij het perfecte decor voor deze twee karakteristieke Hooglanders.

Ik heb geprobeerd om het contrast te vangen tussen de onverwoestbare geschiedenis van de ruïne en de zachte, bijna tastbare textuur van de vacht van de koeien. Voor mij vertegenwoordigt dit beeld de ultieme rust en de tijdloze sfeer van het Schotse landschap.

In this piece, I bring together my love for the Scottish Highlands. The iconic ruins of Kilchurn Castle provide the perfect backdrop for these two characteristic Highland cows.

I sought to capture the contrast between the enduring history of the ruins and the soft, almost tactile texture of the cows' coats. To me, this image represents the ultimate tranquility and the timeless atmosphere of the Scottish landscape.
